If your pet needs urgent veterinary attention outside of normal opening hours, please call Arthur Kidd BVMS, MRCVS Equine Dental Services first. An answerphone message will direct you to the nearest emergency veterinary service.

When to Seek Emergency Care

Please seek urgent veterinary attention if your pet shows any of the following:

  • Difficulty breathing or severe panting
  • Collapse or inability to stand
  • Suspected poisoning
  • Severe bleeding or trauma
  • Repeated vomiting or diarrhoea
  • Seizures or fitting
  • Difficulty giving birth
  • Inability to urinate (especially in male cats)
  • Severe abdominal pain or bloating
  • Eye injuries
